Recycled Map Envelopes

I found these envelopes at a paper store in LA about a week ago and love them! The map maker is only doing this one run to recycle their old maps so I had to grab a few while they are still available, even if they just end up sitting in a drawer (which they probably will if they ever make it off the desk). It shouldn't be too hard to match these up with a project eventually though.

Open Mic T-shirt

What better way to start off than with a shameless plug? This is a shirt I designed for a freelance client of mine who sells 100% organic graphic tees that are made in a sweatshop free environment here in the states. Check them out if you have a second. www.brandofthefree.com

About

Shelf Life will be a weekly updated plethora of anything and everything design related. My wife and I are both graphic designers in search of inspiration and this is our device. We are most drawn to conceptual and purposeful design but we can also appreciate a little obscurity. Look forward to some short and sweet posts covering anything from architecture and furniture to invitations and stationery. We don't want to corner ourselves into one aspect of the industry and fully expect our blog to evolve and grow with us over time.
